Nigerian superstars Wizkid and Asake have linked up again on “Jogodo,” a sleek, groove-laden new single that announces the arrival of their much-anticipated joint EP “REAL, Vol. 1“. The song rides on pulsating rhythms and bold brass touches, crafting an irresistible sonic groove that underscores the intuitive musical chemistry between two of Afrobeats’ biggest names.
Delivered in vibrant Nigerian Pidgin, “Jogodo” explores themes of liberation, late-night revelry, and carefree intoxication. On the track, the pair trade verses in a relaxed, almost conversational cadence, their voices weaving effortlessly in and out of one another, a testament to how well their styles complement each other.
The single offers a first sonic taste of REAL, Vol. 1, slated for release on January 23, 2026, and marks the first time Wizkid and Asake have collaborated on a full joint project.
