CAPASSO CSI Funding 2026 is a grant programme supporting projects that grow South Africa’s music industry through education, empowerment, events, women-in-music initiatives, and community development.
Funding: Up to R200,000 per project
Focus: Music education, skills development, creator empowerment, and industry growth
Applications should be emailed to csi@capasso.co.za by 24 July 2026.
Applicants Eligibility
– Be based in South Africa.
– Publisher members may also apply directly.
– Have earned at least R350 in royalties through CAPASSO.
– Disclose any additional funding received for the proposed project.
– Be a CAPASSO member, either as a direct composer or through a publisher member.
Application Process
A detailed project proposal outlining:
– The Project.
– The Need for funding.
– How the grant will be used.
According to CAPASSO, the initiative is overseen by an independent CSI Committee comprising music industry professionals responsible for reviewing applications and selecting recipients. Successful applicants will be contacted directly regarding the next stages of the process.
