The TED & POSCA Global Artist Residency 2026 is a global residency program by TED, POSCA, and Fine Acts that supports artists creating community-driven public art and socially engaged projects.

The inaugural theme, “Visible Mending,” encourages artists to explore ideas of healing, repair, and rebuilding communities through creative interventions inspired by the Japanese art of Kintsugi.
Only four artists or artist collectives will be selected, each receiving USD $15,000, along with mentorship, production support, and global exposure through TED and POSCA. Unlike traditional residencies, participants remain in their own communities while collaborating with an international cohort.
The residency is open to artists worldwide across disciplines, with applications closing on 31 July 2026. Projects will be developed during the January–June 2027 residency period and implemented throughout 2027.
