Something new is coming to Ho—and it’s bigger than just a party. On April 3, 2026, Bass Live will make its debut at O2 Citi Lounge, bringing a fresh kind of energy to the city’s nightlife. But at the center of it all is a clear vision from its founder, Frederick Adjavon.
For Adjavon, Bass Live isn’t just about music; it’s about creating something the Volta Region hasn’t really had before. A space where people can come together, experience a different sound, and feel part of a growing culture.

“Our mission is to push the boundaries of nightlife in the Volta Region,” he says. “Ho already has the energy, we just want to build something around it that feels new and exciting.”

That intention is what makes Bass Live stand out. While most of Ghana’s electronic and rave culture has been centered in Accra, Adjavon is choosing to take that experience elsewhere, bringing it closer to people who don’t always get access to these kinds of events. Instead of waiting for the culture to spread, he’s helping create it.
To set the tone for the first edition, he’s brought together a strong lineup led by Afrolektra, a DJ and producer known for blending African rhythms with electronic sounds in a way that feels both global and rooted. Having worked with artists like Black Sherif and Gyakie and performed on major stages like Afrofuture, Afrolektra brings a level of experience that sets the standard for the night.
He’ll be joined by a lineup of DJs and hosts, including Don Nortey, Leonardo Dj, BIGBADSOUND, DJ Prince, MC Gbeta, and DJ Medra, all bringing their own style and energy to keep the night alive from start to finish.
But beyond the music, it’s really about the experience. Adjavon is focused on creating a space that feels immersive, where the sound, the crowd, and the atmosphere all come together. O2 Citi Lounge will be transformed into more than just a venue for the night; it will become part of the story.
