A New Voice in Ghanaian Streetwear
A New Voice in Ghanaian Streetwear OLK Studioz is a Ghanaian fashion brand rooted in the intersection of streetwear, visual culture, and narrative-driven design. Founded by Ashmond Kwesy, a creative initially known for his photography and visual storytelling, the label reflects a growing wave of Ghanaian fashion brands that prioritize identity, culture, and artistic expression over traditional fashion structures.
The brand has officially launched and opened pre-orders, signaling the beginning of its early growth phase. So far, OLK Studioz has taken a community-led and digital-first approach, with communication primarily driven through Instagram and direct engagement rather than traditional media channels.
About the Founder
Ashmond Kwesy (Ashmond Oppong) is a London-based fashion and lifestyle photographer widely recognized for his vibrant use of color, bold compositions, and emotionally driven visual storytelling. His work spans fashion, portraits, and lifestyle photography, often exploring themes of identity, culture, and human connection. Rather than simply documenting subjects, Ashmond’s imagery focuses on capturing narrative depth and atmosphere.

Beyond photography, he is highly skilled in post-production tools, including Photoshop, Lightroom, Capture One, Premiere Pro, and Dehancer, which further enhance his ability to deliver refined and cinematic visual work.
Creative Journey & Collaborations
Ashmond’s creative foundation began in graphic design and print, where he developed visual concepts for advertising, branding, and packaging. This early experience laid the groundwork for his transition into photography and videography, where he has since built an expansive portfolio across multiple industries.
Over the years, he has collaborated with notable artists and figures, including Mr. Eazi, Tneeya, KeL P, and Black Sherif, documenting creative processes through portraits, event coverage, and motion content. His professional portfolio also includes partnerships with brands such as Free The Youth, KickGame, Jeanius, and the Emirates FA Cup, where he has contributed visual content tied to major sporting and cultural moments, including projects involving Chelsea FC and music collaborations.
Ashmond’s personal and collaborative projects have earned international attention. His solo exhibition, “The Son of Victoria,” stands as one of his most defining works, exploring themes of legacy, love, and cultural identity. He has also co-exhibited in “Parallel Frequencies” by Ekoma World, further establishing his presence in contemporary visual arts spaces. His work has been featured on platforms such as GQ and Kenga Digital, alongside recognition for editorial photography and fashion curation projects under OLK Studios.
As the founder of OLK Studios, Ashmond has extended his creative practice into fashion design, producing clothing, footwear, and accessories. His approach to fashion remains consistent with his visual philosophy, storytelling through form, texture, and identity. OLK Studioz reflects this vision, positioning itself as more than a fashion label, but a creative platform that merges art direction, culture, and wearable expression.
Ashmond Kwesy continues to expand his creative influence, with plans to take The Son of Victoria exhibition to international audiences. Through OLK Studioz and his broader artistic work, he aims to amplify narratives centered on legacy, identity, and cultural connection on a global scale.
