Ghanaian Afro-electronic artist “KVPEL” is back with a fresh wave of releases, led by the pulsating Afro-house single “Ogya“, alongside two collaborative tracks, “Paradise” and “Paradise II“, created with internationally recognized DJ and producer Nick Terranova, better known as Starkillers. Produced by Phantom, “Ogya” is rooted in rich percussion and driven by a hypnotic groove.
The title, which translates to “fire” in Akan, captures the track’s intensity, blending traditional African rhythmic elements with contemporary electronic production to create an energetic, dance-ready sound. On “Paradise” and “Paradise II“, KVPEL collaborates with Starkillers to explore diverse sonic directions within the electronic music genre.
Both tracks, produced by Sync.so, highlight a dynamic creative exchange between the two artists. Paradise leans into a rhythmic 3-step house style, offering a smooth yet infectious bounce tailored for club settings and DJ rotations. In contrast, “Paradise II” takes a more expansive approach, building into a fuller EDM sound with stronger melodic progressions and a festival-ready atmosphere, while still preserving the Afro-electronic essence at its core.
Together, these releases underline KVPEL’s growing presence in the global music space. By fusing African rhythms with international electronic influences and collaborating with established names, he continues to push Afro-house in bold, exciting directions.
